The homepage will not open
Check the address for a spelling error and see whether another ordinary website loads. If the rest of your connection works but an older SubsMovies domain does not, use the old-address guide. Repeatedly refreshing an expired bookmark will not recover a moved page.
The search is empty
Reset the filters, then search a short title. Confirm that Search in is set to Titles rather than Cast or Directors. Try the production year for a remake. A result can disappear because a previous country, language or date choice is still active.
My saved titles are gone
Return to the original browser and normal browsing mode. Browser storage is separate between devices and can be removed by clearing site data. If you kept a list backup, merge it into the browser you want to use now. Do not clear more data as the first response to a missing list.
Watch now opens, but the film will not play
Identify the service and title at the destination. Try another title there to distinguish a single-offer problem from a device or connection issue. If a player buffers, pause briefly or reduce its quality setting where available. For an error report, include the exact message, production, episode, device and approximate time.
One change at a time
After each change, repeat the action that failed. This makes it possible to tell what helped. If the catalog works normally, leave its settings alone while you diagnose a separate viewing app.
